How the idea came to be
Niles Prestage owned a carpet store on the memorial parkway in Huntsville where the store is located now. On the weekends Niles would conduct furniture auctions in his building, he got the furniture from companies that went out of business in the area. Realizing there was no one in the North Alabama area doing the same, the idea came to Niles. to start a furniture store, thus leading to the foundation of starting his new company, Office Furniture Outlet!
The Problem
Huntsville Alabama was a growing city, faster than most would have expected. With new businesses and buildings going up all around how would these companies be able to supply their new offices? Surely there is a company that could fulfill the demand for commercial office furniture, that could assemble and deliver it for its customers? Niles Prestage has been the Owner/President of Office Furniture Outlet for 29 years. Throughout that time, serving his customers to provide the best quality and service possible. Dedicating his life to friends, family, and his church. He enjoys doing things around the farm and vacationing with his wife. “I was born and raised in the Five Points neighborhood before it was cool. I was also once high scorer for both teams in a church league basketball game! I’m not at all partial, but I have the greatest granddaughter and grandson in the world!”
